I'm hearing what might be a need for authenticity, for respect, to have your perspective heard and understood, to have influence within important relationships... though of course these are just my conjecture. What do you notice if you read through that list from the Center for NonViolent Communication? What feelings emerge when you validate what you find as very real needs?
